Most people, especially the car lover, when asked about which car they are going to buy if they have the money to spare, their answer is: a sports car that is high in quality. A lot of people argue about what is the exact meaning of high quality, but all are in the same mind when the sports car is the subject.

This is also the reason why sports cars are tested in wind tunnels to find out the performance of the car under great speed.
Still, great sports cars are made with a rear wheel drive. This is because rear wheel drive can handle proper turning and curves. Most car lovers would want to keep their top speed even during curves. Due to this, manufacturers answered this request with the rear wheel composition of the sports car. With this, the car can keep up its speed in straight roads even during curves and turns.
Sports cars have an aerodynamic feature that is not only intentionally installed in these cars to give them a sleek look. This aerodynamic feature is mainly intended to make these cars fast. Because of this feature, these cars fight against wind resistance since they are shiny and thus, slippery. Sports cars are tested in wind tunnels to see how they will fare against the strongest wind resistance.
Another feature that contributes to how fast these cars is their light weight. To show how weight contributes to the speed of the car, race cars are purposefully made of lightweight materials in an effort to lessen the gross weight of the car. Sports cars minimize the space that they could spare. They do not have storage compartments. They can only accommodate two seats which also have tight suspensions. The priority of these cars is to accommodate at least two people only who do not have extra baggage.
As the car is turning into a corner, it is the rear wheel drive structure that is responsible for the better distribution of the car’s weight. Even if the style of your car is without equal, it does not make a difference if your car is not fast. It is bad that a car appears to run fast but it actually does not.
