Do you remember when all you could do with a phone was make a call? Mobile phones have come a long way since then. With the newest sim free mobile phones you can text, chat, send photos and surf the web. You can also get help to navigate with GPS and stream live TV shows.
The newest hot pink mobile phone is really cutting edge. It includes technology that is rapidly advanced. In fact, many users will actually find that this phone is too complicated for them to deal with. Better than half of phone users said in a survey that the found their phone to be hard to use and that there were features that they didn’t even use. Most people would be happy with a phone that only offer voice as well as texting.
There are customers from both ends of the age range when it comes to the sim free mobile phone market. It used to be that working adults were the core customer base for most companies. Today more and more kids are getting cell phones of their own and they always want to have the very best technology on their cell phones.
The new technology that comes out is always getting attention from the media. You see a lot of new technology showing up in the smart phone market. Companies want to sell this type of equipment because they can make a bigger profit. They also make more profit from those younger users that like to email, surf, and send pictures on their pink mobile phone than they do from those that are a bit older and who enjoy just talking on their mobile phones.
The phone companies cannot ignore this older market however because it continues to grow as more and more older folks decide to get a cell phone. Also the percentage of older people in the population is growing as the entire population ages, making them a powerful part of the market. If the latest sim free mobile phone becomes too complicated to use, then the cell phone companies are going to lose customers.
The bottom line is that there is no one phone for every user, so while the companies will always be focusing on the latest features and technologies that they can add to their top of the line sim free mobile phones, they cannot forget about granny who wants a hot pink mobile phone that is easy to call her grandchildren on and nothing more.
There are phones out there that re more simple. You just have to get phone companies to keep them available with all the new phones out there. Carriers also have to be able to offer service to customers so it is fair to all of their different users.
Someone who only wants to talk will clearly not want to pay as much as a user who is surfing the web all day, nor should they have to. Different plans and packages that offer limited features will allow all users to find the right match for their needs.
