Kids Night Vision Goggles: Are They Dangerous For My Children?
Typically night vision goggles are hundreds if not thousands of dollars. They are used by many people such as military, surveillance and hobbyists in general. But recently there have been companies that have been coming out with Kids Night Vision Goggles.
I see that Kids Night Vision Goggles have a solid construction and are well made and built to be tough. Now, even though there main purpose is for children to play with I must tell you out right that they work 100% like they should. Comparing someone without a pair and someone with a pair the person with the pair will see in the darkness and the other person will see nothing. That in my book is a complete success.
So, if you’re wondering how Kids Night Vision Goggles work It’s actually pretty easy to understand really. You see, because the human eye just can’t see the infrared light that does not mean nothing can see it because most cameras can pick it up. So, night vision goggles usually are made up of a camera that’s connected to a viewfinder that would have an infrared spotlight. That would cover the area in front of them and allow them to see that way.
The mechanics of the unit are made with two eyepieces. One of them will have LED’s all over it but the other will not. Keep in mind the lights infrared spotlight in a matter of speaking which is going to allow you to have sight in total darkness.
Kids Night Vision Goggles on a technical level function when infrared light is being projected. The levels of actual brightness are twofold. One, has the LED’s from the eyepiece and the other from the brightness from the LED’s on the base itself.
One thing to remember about the eyepiece is you could see a type of glow that is red in color and It would be good for you to file that away for a moment.
Remember how we talked about our vision not allowing us to see infrared light? Well, granted, you could go buy some Kids Night Vision Goggles and then you could see it, right? Anyway, if you did look through a pair and saw that red glow that is infrared light in its naked form!
If you have a child that has to wear glasses and you are wondering if they can use Kids Night Vision Goggles you have nothing to worry about. I would say all of the units I have seen are totally glasses friendly.
Robert Stormony recently made a cool site for a friend of his that’s dedicated to Bushnell Night Vision Goggles and Inexpensive Night Vision Goggles. You will see the most complete information and lowest prices to get you what you are looking for now.
